Groundbreaking Ceremony for Knolls, LC

 

(GrinnellIowa)  — Septagon Construction Company hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for Knolls, LC at 10:00 am on April 5th at the site of the new facility, located at 700 Blakely Circle in Grinnell. 

 

Septagon Construction, the City of Grinnell, POW I-80 join in congratulating Knolls, LC, a holding company owned by Reza Kargarzadeh of Grinnell, on their most recent endeavor.  The new facility will be 266,000 square feet with an adjoining 8,000 square foot office. 

 

For over 15 years, Septagon Construction has had a working relationship with Reza Kargarzadeh and Septagon is excited to work with him once again.

 

Septagon Construction is providing the general contracting as well as self-performing the steel erection and miscellaneous carpentry work on the project. 

 

Jacobson Companies, a national, third-party logistics and warehousing firm based in Des Moines, will lease and manage the warehouse and distribution center for a major agricultural producer.

 

Jacobson has signed a ten year lease with Knolls, LC, and the firm has reiterated its commitment to our community, saying that they are planning on a long-term stay in Grinnell.  This project will create approximately twelve full-time jobs with approximately 20-25 or more permanent, full-time jobs to come.
